Reflections Art Program

“I am Hopeful Because...” is the theme for the 2023-24 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. This amazing program increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education. Encourage the arts and recognize student artwork through the PTA Reflections Program.

Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

  • Unleash creative talents and be inspired
  • Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
  • Experience the fun and joy of making art
  • Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
  • Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

More about Reflections…

Membership in PTA provides the opportunity to participate in the National PTA Reflections program.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

Form Template for Reflections

Councils and Units can use this link to create their form. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14higYi-Kmls6ogpZi1wLMnzJizm2zkYH1a_hOVgZgTE/copy.

Units and Councils are encouraged to rename their form to replace "Template" with "Unit Name_Council_District #_" Remember they do need to "Restore" the missing file folders. This will allow the unit to collect the art entries for every category.

Please do not change the questions or columns in this form. We need to keep the format the same so that when they get transferred to each level for judging there will be no columns offset.

Reflections Theme Search

Each year, students are invited to submit themes for the annual Reflections Art Program that will inspire young artists to create original works.

Submit your Theme search entries between September 1, 2023 and 5:00 pm, November 1, 2023.
