Sometimes more than one legislator represents the same zip code.  When this happens, the San Diego Registrar of Voters has a webpage where you can enter your complete address and get back a list of all your legislators -- local, state and federal.  This website is definitely more complicated than the other one and should be only be used used as an alternative when more than one senator or assembly member represents the same zip code:
