Newsletters, Program Book and Websites Awards
The PTA is a valuable resource and tool within our schools for all children and families. However, if we don’t get our word out and let our parents, school community, teachers, staff and students know what is happening then no one knows we exist. Newsletters, program books and websites are valuable to the community we are trying to reach. This is why we at Ninth District PTA want to encourage every council and unit to provide these publications and websites for their members and communities.
Each year Ninth District PTA recognizes outstanding newsletters - both printed and electronic, websites and program books from councils and units. Every council and unit in good standing is eligible to participate in the Spreading the News program. We want to stress to each of you that the newsletters, program books and websites you submit must be the work of the PTA council or unit and not generated from the school or school district.To enter please fill out the Entry Form and submit with requested documents to Ninth District PTA by March 29, 2013. Awards will be presented at the Ninth District PTA Annual Awards Event to be held on May 21, 2013. Ninth District PTA encourages you to plan to attend this event. You will be notified should your unit or council receive an award. We look forward to learning how you are Spreading the News in your communities. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions.All entries must be in the Ninth District PTA office by March 29, 2013.
